We were "born" in 1990 as an idea after watching the launching and recovery of
boats at the Ninilchik-Deep Creek beach tractor launch. Boats were pushed out into the surf on their trailers by tractors and then were captured (caught) on return with the trailers after the boat "surfed" the last wave into their trailer cradle. The men operating the tractor launch and recovery system were young but expert in anticipating where the boat and trailer would meet. After several outings at the beach, we were delighted at "surfing" Alaska. It is an experience and sensation that we invite all visitors to our state to enjoy. To remind us of the origin of our company, we retained the surfing motif.
In the true spirit of the 60's we operate as a family business with customer
satisfaction as our first priority. All of our merchandise is high quality and hand- picked.
